The Emprint SpotDot brailler offers faster printing speeds and wider paper sizes than the Tiger Cub and provides reliable braille printing at up to 60 characters per second. It enables you to quickly produce braille and high resolution tactile graphics on a wide range of paper with sizes up to 35cm using either standard or tractor feed paper. This larger printing area is particularly useful for printing educational resources such as maps, diagrams and graphs. Tiger braille technology gives you a choice of braille dot heights; light, normal and heavy. This gives you the flexibility to adjust the definition of the braille to how sensitive your fingers are to braille dots. The variable braille height really comes into its own when producing tactile images. As it can print with three braille dot heights, tactile images offer more definition than a standard braille printer with only one dot height. These products are returnable within 14 days of receipt in an “as new” condition in original, undamaged packaging.
We kindly ask our customers to ensure that any faulty products being returned are packaged securely for stable transit, or the warranty may be voided. Where possible, please use the original packaging.

Most of our products and some publications in large print (16 point and above) can be sent by freepost under the 'Articles for the Blind' scheme.
However, the Articles for the Blind scheme offers no guarantees of delivery or insurance for valuable items. We do, therefore, have to make delivery charges for some high value products which need to be sent by a special delivery method. Where a product incurs a delivery charge this is highlighted in the product details and will be added to your order at checkout.
When we send your products, the package will include a 'dispatch note' with details of the contents. It is really important to check this against the actual contents of the package and alert us immediately (within 7 working days) of receiving the order about any discrepancies.

- Not value for money
We have not been impressed with the performance or the translation programme of Braille for such an expensive piece of equipment.
Despite being returned for service / repair twice, the paper feed is still not satisfactory and the software programme does translate well.
