Simply by wearing eyeshields, these are similar to sunglasses but with the addition of a filter tint to suit your needs, they are designed to exclude glare, help to increase contrast and definition and comfortable to wear. There are five tints available - what would be most suitable for you?
Yellow tint is designed for central vision loss including AMD due to the high percentage of light transmission. They block out UV and blue light and can be worn indoors and outdoors.
Orange tint offers very high contrast and therefore more suitable for people with RP or Diabetic retinopathy.
Amber tint these offer high contrast in strong sunlight and suitable for all eye conditions. They block out UV and blue light and suitable for outdoor wear only.
Green tint is similar to amber but these can also be worn indoors as well as outdoors. The offer high contrast for all eye conditions and where other tint colours 'feel too bright'.
Grey tint, these only block UV light but are suitable for people where the changes to appearance of colours in rest of range of tints is not tolerated by eye condition. Can be worn indoors and outdoors.
