The DM-7 is a voice guided voice recorder, reading out any text relating to the menu, which allows you to easily navigate your way through the settings and key features. The on board DAISY support allows the playback of your DAISY files; it also provides Text to Speech of txt, html, doc, and docx files. The dedicated Music folder allows you to store all your favourite tracks. In addition to the internal 8GB memory, you also have the option to add up to an additional 32GB micro SD card for increased memory size.
The low‑noise stereo microphone, with 90° outward orientation to capture sound from all directions, guarantees top quality recordings. Combined with a zoom microphone setting and different room setting options, it has the ability in noisy environments to focus in on the sound. By increasing the directivity of the internal microphones, more focussed recordings in larger rooms are captured. It has 5 environment options including; lecture, conference, dictation and more, so you can find the right setting for your needs.
This recorder features Wi-Fi smartphone compatibility using a free smartphone app (Olympus Audio Controller), allowing you to remote control your recorder from a distance; therefore optimising the recording quality (as you can situate the recorder nearer the speaker). You can then download the recorded files from the recorder to your smartphone, to instantly share your recordings.

Where a product incurs a delivery charge this is highlighted in the product details and will be added to your order at checkout.
When we send your products, the package will include a 'dispatch note' with details of the contents. It is really important to check this against the actual contents of the package and alert us immediately (within 7 working days) of receiving the order about any discrepancies.
If you find this product is unsuitable for your needs, or is faulty, then follow our returns instructions to ensure we deal with your enquiry efficiently. Some products cannot be returned. More information can be found in product description where applicable.
Special order products are non-returnable unless faulty. Where possible, please use the original packaging. These include specially ordered items that are not part of our standard range. This also includes personalised items, including computer packages, as well as special order canes, walking sticks and more.
