Christmas 2024 delivery dates
For delivery from us in time for Christmas, all orders (except special orders) must be received by midnight Wednesday, 18 December (subject to the product being in stock).
Orders for special order products must be placed by midnight on Friday 6 December for delivery in time for Christmas (unless longer delivery times are stated in the product information).
Special order canes and tips have an extended delivery time and must have been ordered by midnight on Saturday 2 November for Christmas delivery.
Standard delivery times
Orders with a value of £59.99 ex VAT or higher are sent by DPD courier. All other orders are sent by Royal Mail’s Articles for the Blind scheme. You will receive an email when your order is despatched. If you have not received your order (below £59.99) within 14 working days or (over £59.99) within five working days, please contact our Helpline on 0303 123 9999 or email [email protected].
Where do we deliver to?
We can only deliver to addresses in the UK. If you live outside of the UK and would like to order, please contact our Helpline as they may be able to suggest organisations in your country that can help supply the product you’re looking for. Special orders
We work with partners to deliver some products on our behalf. We will pass on your contact information to be able to delivery of the product effectively. While delivery is usually within seven days, it may take up to six weeks.
Articles for the Blind scheme
Most of our products and some publications in large print (16 point and above) can be sent by freepost under Royal Mail's "Articles for the Blind" scheme.
However, the Articles for the Blind scheme offers no guarantees of delivery or insurance for valuable items. Therefore we have to use alternative delivery methods, such as courier and Royal Mail services, for higher value orders.
Delivery charges
Where a product incurs a delivery charge this is highlighted in the product details and will be added to your order at checkout.
Despatch note
When we send your products, the package will include a despatch note with details of the contents. It is really important to check this against the actual contents of the package and alert us immediately (within seven working days of receiving the order) about any discrepancies.
