Touch ID

Touch ID lets you securely unlock your iPhone and sign into apps instantly. You can even use it with Apple Pay to grab a coffee, get an app or shop online. The fingerprint sensor is built into the Home button.

Everything is designed to give you control over your information. All the iMessages you send are encrypted. Fingerprint data is stored on your device, never on Apple servers or in iCloud. Apple Pay doesn’t share your credit card number. 

Accessibility

Technology is most powerful when everyone can use it. That’s why iPad comes with accessibility features that support vision, hearing, mobility, and cognitive needs. Like sign language prominence in FaceTime, which can detect when a participant is using sign language and make them prominent in a Group FaceTime call.

Both VoiceOver (screen reader) and Zoom (magnifier) can be turned on by pressing a button or the screen at the set-up stage.

Other accessibility features include: VoiceOver + Braille; Speak Screen (reads text to you); Magnifier (use the camera and screen to magnify objects); Dictation; and Reduce Motion (decrease movement of onscreen elements). You can also adjust your display and text size to suit your needs, and use Siri, the in-built assistant, to carry out tasks such as sending a text message, playing a song or setting reminders.

Siri 

Use your voice to send messages, set reminders and more. Activate hands-free with only your voice using “Hey Siri”. Listen to and identify songs.

  • You must notify us within 14 days of receipt if you wish to return the unopened iPad as unsuitable.
  • This product is non-returnable, unless faulty, once the seal has been broken/removed on the Apple packaging.
