The BlindShell Classic 2 provides all the accessibility of the BlindShell Classic, but also gives you new features, including WhatsApp, YouTube, an internet browser, built-in screen reader, a colour detector and NFC object tagging.

It still has large, tactile buttons on the keypad and voice control, but it now has brand new, specially designed hardware, which includes an improved loudspeaker, long-life battery and a 13MP camera. Most importantly, it’s still really simple to use.

If you need more apps than the ones that are pre-installed, use the BlindShell app catalogue to choose what you need.

As well as the colour detector and NFC tagger, other assistive tools include a magnifier, GPS location, and an SOS button. You can also have single button access to your favourite apps.

Add NFC tags to items to help you identify them with your phone – for example, distinguish between toothpaste and hand cream.

BlindShell Classic 2 also offers you a book reader, games, email, FM and internet radio, a music player and a voice recorder.

• This phones battery has a 12 month warranty.
