If the warm spring sunshine, scent of blossom, and gossipy birdsong are giving you wanderlust, Awarewolf canes are ready to get you moving.

These premium mobility canes are designed by blind people for blind people – choose the All Terrain Cane for rambles and hikes, and the Urban Xplorer for tackling the obstacles of an urban environment – car doors, pavements buckled by tree roots, potholes and cobbles.

All Terrain Cane

The All Terrain Cane (ATC) isn't an everyday cane, but if you're pulling on walking boots for hikes along beaches, through woods or on mountain paths, it's the perfect companion.

Designed for the back country trails of Arizona, the ATC is ideal for your off-road adventures. As well as using it to find obstacles and the edge of your trail, you can use it for support as you climb up and down. Made with lightweight, super-strong titanium alloy with tensile steel instead of elastic in its core, for greater resilience, the ATC is heavier than an everyday cane but will give you support and stability as you walk or hike.

Its 16-inch handle is designed and built for both golf and ski pole grips, with room to choke up/down when climbing and the high-performance roller ball tip connects you to all terrains and surfaces. This three-section cane is also height adjustable from 130cm to 155cm (51 to 61 inches).

You can see the All Terrain Cane in action on an Arizona trail and test the ATC for yourself at our Products and Advice Centres in London, Edinburgh and Belfast to get a feel for it before making a purchase.

Urban Xplorer

The Urban Xplorer is a super-durable, robust and adjustable street cane designed to keep you moving through the urban jungle, with all its trip hazards and obstacles. Available in four sizes – small, medium, large and extra-large – this featherlight cane from Awarewolf Gear is designed for children and adults.

Made of durable aerospace grade aluminium with innovative, super-strong metal sleeve joints, the Urban Xplorer is strong and durable, but also lightweight, and is designed to deliver confidence, freedom, empowerment and mobility as you navigate car doors, Tube platforms, cobbles, uneven pavements, tree roots and other urban obstacles…

It’s featherweight design, strength and adjustability make it suitable for growing children as well as adults.

The Urban Xplorer is supplied with a hook-style white dome tip and an adjustable foam grip, so you can be sure your cane is the right length for you. The small cane measures 38 inches (including the dome tip) at its shortest length, while the extra large goes up to 62 inches (including the dome tip).

The new dome tip design is inspired by the classic marshmallow tip and the sleek action of a rolling ball tip. Replacement dome tips are available in a pack of six mixed colours, or individually in white, pink, blue or yellow.

You can also test the Urban Xplorer at our Products and Advice Centres in London, Edinburgh and Belfast.
