If you’re looking for products that reduce some of the frustrations caused by dyslexia, we have keyboards specifically designed for dyslexic users, coloured paper with thick lines, text-to-speech tools that can help to reduce reading fatigue, and more...

Dyslexia keyboards

Our brand-new dyslexia-friendly LogicKeyboards use the Dyslexie font to make typing with dyslexia easier, and are carefully designed to enhance readability and relieve the challenges associated with traditional fonts. They include colour-coded vowels, consonants, numbers and function keys and help the user learn the location of letters, numbers and other keys on a keyboard. With unique letter shapes and spacing, these keyboards significantly reduce letter swapping.

Choose a mini Bluetooth keyboard compatible with either Windows 10/11 PCs or devices running macOS or iPadOS, or a wired Windows-compatible keyboard with built-in high-speed USB hubs for peripherals.

Thick-lined coloured paper

Some people find coloured paper helpful when reading back their notes. Our thick-lined paper is available in five pastel colours – green, pink, orange, lilac and blue – and is designed to help you focus. Our 80gsm paper has 2mm-thick black lines, 1,3cm apart to make it easier to both get your thoughts down clearly and read them back later.

Scan and read devices

Browse our scanners to find the right text-to-speech tool for you… You can choose an ultra-portable device, or one better suited to sitting on a desk; you can embrace AI assistance or opt out – all of these devices can help to reduce reading fatigue by scanning text and reading it back to.

Voice recorders

Making voice notes to quickly capture ideas and information can boost creativity and reduce frustration. Try the Multi-memo six minute voice recorder for quick reminders – phone numbers, email addresses, shopping list items – or for longer recordings, there’s the Micro-Speak Plus, 1GB, which has tactile buttons and spoken prompts. It produces high quality recordings in MP3 format and can be used to record your own work or other people’s (in presentations, lectures, meetings) in place of written notes.

DAISY books

Whether you’re reading entirely for pleasure, or require a set text for an exam, our DAISY books are a great way to listen. Unlike standard audio books, DAISY audio is highly structured, so that when played on a DAISY player, you can navigate by word, sentence or paragraph – particularly useful for isolating useful quotes for English Literature exams!

RNIB Talking Books are also DAISY books, and will play on our DAISY players.
