We don't promise that this tactile, easy-to-see maths set will make the hypotenuse your favourite animal, but it can make drawing and measuring angles and lines easier.

The Oxford vision maths set was developed in conjunction with RNIB, and has been specially designed to meet the needs of those with a vision impairment.

It has a high contrast, yellow and black design with tactile elements to make it easier to read. The large print graduations on the 15cm ruler, 45 and 60 degree set squares, and 180 degree protractor are raised 0.5mm so they can be felt, and marked in black on the yellow plastic to make them easier to read. There are also notches in the side and non-slip pads on the back of these tools to allow for easy use.

The set comprises: self-centring metal compass with safety point, 9cm graphite pencil for use in compass, PVC and phthalate-free eraser, pencil sharpener with anti-tamper screw, 15cm ruler, 45 and 60 degree set squares, 180 degree protractor, 10mm lettering stencil, and storage tin.
