This Micro-Speak Plus has a larger power switch, more tactile buttons, and an SD card slot. The audio prompt software has also been improved, and the mini-USB socket has been changed to the more user-friendly USB-C type. A 1GB micro SD card is also included, which provides 15 hours of recording time. 

Use the Micro-Speak Plus to record voice memos and reminders, create shopping lists, list telephone numbers and emergency contacts, and for organising appointments and events. 

As well as easy-to-use, simple navigation, the Micro-Speak Plus provides spoken prompts and beeps to aid blind and partially sighted users with recording, deleting files, detecting battery level, and more.

The built-in microphone records high quality MP3s with a 128kbps sample rate, and the built-in speaker provides high quality audio playback. You can also plug in headphones for personal listening.

Function buttons – record, play/pause, next, previous and volume control – are all large and tactile.
