RNIB’s Orbit Reader Repairs Service is for you if you’ve got an Orbit 20 Reader which has stopped working and is out of warranty.
The service is UK-based and can fix – at the best price we can offer – a range of different faults, from replacing a reader’s rubber feet to replacing its braille display or motherboard.
To book a repair, simply call our Helpline on 0303 123 9999 and we will arrange to get your machine collected.
An experienced technician who specialises in repairing braille machines carries out this work and, while a full list of the available repairs and associated costs is listed below, please note there is an initial charge for return and/or collection of the reader and assessing its condition before the Orbit can be repaired.
After collection or delivery, we won’t charge anything further until the faulty reader has been assessed and costs agreed with the owner.
