Ruby XL HD 5 inch handheld video magnifier

This slim video magnifier puts crystal clear, high-definition magnification in the palm of your hand and offers two to 14 times continuous zoom magnification (2× to 14×). The clear five-megapixel, auto-focus camera has a large depth of field, so can be up to 10cm away from the page or object and remain in focus. The bright five-inch screen displays the finest details whether viewing books, photographs, medication instructions, household bills or newspapers. 

Designed for flexibility and comfort the Ruby XL HD has a built-in reading stand. When reading at a desk or table you can place the magnifier directly on to the page and angle the screen towards you. When out and about you can fold out the handle into one of two positions for a firm and balanced grip. 

This lightweight magnifier is easy-to-learn and to use, with colour-coded, tactile buttons and 20 high-contrast colour viewing modes so you can find your most comfortable reading combination; these include full colour, black on white, white on black, yellow on blue and yellow on black. You can also add a reading line or mask to help locate and maintain your place. The reading line is a horizontal line that displays on the screen, while the reading mask blocks part of the screen to show a horizontal slice of the screen. 

The image capture feature means you can freeze an image at arms-length and then bring the screen closer to read; perfect for checking price tags, noticeboards or timetables. You can save up to 80 images for future reference or transfer to your computer with a USB cable. 

The Ruby XL HD has a built-in rechargeable battery that takes approximately three hours to fully charge. On a full charge you can continually use the magnifier for about three hours; when the battery is low the battery indictor LED flashes red.

This product is returnable within 14 days of receipt in an “as new” condition in original, undamaged packaging.

We kindly ask our customers to ensure that any faulty products being returned are packaged securely for stable transit, or the warranty may be voided. Where possible, please use the original packaging.
