Whether half-term is a staycation or chance to get away, we have plenty of suggestions for keeping children occupied at home or on the move.

The BrailleDoodle

This tablet uses hundreds of ball-bearings and a magnetic stylus and is a great way for children to learn braille or create their own tactile images. There are no batteries to replace or recharge and the stylus is attached to the tablet so it won’t roll under the driver’s seat or your sofa.

Playing cards

A pack of cards is a staple for many people’s holidays, and our range is designed to be inclusive for everyone’s game of Solitaire, Snap! or Sevens. Choose large print, large print with braille, or standard print with braille, and watch out for grannies letting their inner card shark out to play… Alternatively, check out our card games for other ways to beat traffic jam/train delay/wet afternoon blues.

Puzzle books and colouring in

Head to our puzzle book collection for large print puzzle and colouring books. Test your logic skills on sudoku, your vocabulary skills on crosswords, and your search skills on wordsearches. Choose birds or flowers (or both) for large print colouring in. (Our tactile colouring packs are also still available.)
