Appearance
The phone has speech amplification and an inductive coupler, so it is hearing aid-compatible. The additional “loud” button also boosts the caller’s voice by up to 16dB. The phone has three standard ringtones, adjustable ringer volume control, and a visual ring indicator.
The large, black number pad buttons have great contrast against the white phone casing and white text; they are well-spaced, and each button measures 2cm high.
Three one-touch memory buttons allow you to easily dial your most important numbers, and you can store an additional 10 numbers in the quick dial memory.
This phone is compatible with the Digital switchover in 2025 when plugged in to the FSX port of the BT Hub or via BT's Digital Voice Adapter. Please note that all providers are obliged to provide any additional equipment to ensure the continuation of service when the switchover happens. For most people the process should be as simple as removing the phone from the wall socket and plugging (via an adaptor) into a wi-fi router.
