Please note, that you will need to choose both a magnifier head and an illuminated handle from the dropdown menu below. If you already have a handle, you can choose just the magnifier head that you require. Choose from 12.5×, 10×, 7×, 5× or 4×. The magnifier head will not work without the illuminated handle.

This high quality magnifier system is lightweight, provides bright, even illumination of the reading text, and can sit directly on flat surfaces. It offers the portability of a hand magnifier with the stability of a stand magnifier – ideal for reading over long periods of time and for users who cannot hold magnifiers freely (for example, those with age-related shaking or Parkinson's disease).

Each aspheric PXM® lightweight lens is cera-tec® coated for a distortion-free image with edge-to-edge sharpness, and is "particularly scratch-proof" for high visual comfort. The 4× and 5× magnifiers are also fitted with a retractable red reading line for easier line orientation and increased reading speed.

Each magnifier head is printed with its magnification level, dioptre value and recommended eye-lens distance.

The LED-illuminated handle fits all the Vario Plus magnifier heads, making it easy to add a different lens if your eyesight changes. It is supplied with an orange and a yellow filter which clip over the LED to change the colour temperature if required. The large on/off switch makes it easy to use. Open from the base to change the two type C (LR14) batteries (not included).
