To use JAWS for Windows, we recommend a personal computer running Microsoft Windows with the following:

• Operating system: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows Server 2025, Windows Server 2022, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server 2016. (JAWS supports the x64 architecture for all operating systems. JAWS provides additional support for the ARM64 architecture on Windows 11 operating systems.) 
• Recommended processor speed: 2.0 GHz i5 dual core or higher processor. 
• Recommended Memory (RAM): 16 GB or more. 
• Required hard disk space: 2 GB with more space required for additional voices. 
• Recommended: SSD drive. 
• Video/Graphics card with support for DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver. 1024×768 display resolution. 
• Windows-compatible sound card (for speech).
• 1 year subscription USB.
