The black plastic reading guides (also called typoscopes) make it easier to focus on a line of text, by reducing the amount of text visible to the reader and reducing glare.

Available in a mixed pack of four for different types of books.

Large print books – reveals two lines of 24 point or three lines of 16 point print. Size: 22 × 20cm; reading slot 18 × 2cm.

Smaller books and paperbacks – reveals two lines of 16 point. Size: 19cm × 14cm; reading slot 12 × 1.5cm.

Newspaper and magazine columns – two different slots to view different column sizes. Both slots reveal two lines of 16 point print size. Size: 19cm × 13cm; reading slots 6 × 1.5cm and 5 × 1.5cm.

Large print columns – reveals two lines of 16 point print and can be used for large columns or for large print magazines. 19cm × 13cm; reading slot 9 × 1.5cm.

Our writing guides make it easier to address envelopes or to sign letters, cheques, and forms. Made of durable black plastic which provides high contrast to help make writing easier, they help you to keep your writing in a straight line with letters at an even height. Simply place the guide on the document or envelope, hold it in place with your free hand and write within the rectangular cut-out window. (The signature guide has one window, the envelope guide has five windows.
