The clock's main controls are white, and contrast clearly with the black case to make them easier to use.

The bold, black hour and minute hands have yellow, glow-in-the-dark tips, and the silent-sweep second hand is red.

Press the talk button once to hear the time and press a second time to hear the date (announced as month, date, day; for example, August 14th, Tuesday).
