Seed balls are incredibly easy to use – simply scatter on top of soil or compost (no digging or expertise required!) in spring or summer and nature will do the rest.

An ideal gift for plant lovers whether they're experienced gardeners or just starting to develop green fingers, these seed balls are easy to use and will produce fresh-scented and delicious mint plants, that are also attractive to pollinators, including bees if allowed to flower.

Mint does best in well-drained, fertile soil in light shade, where the roots will stay moist without becoming waterlogged. For the best flavour, keep cutting mint to stimulate new leafy growth. Download our Seedball hints and tips to get the best from your seed balls.

This tube of 20 seed balls (each containing about 30 mint seeds) will produce plants in two to three weeks, depending on the weather.

Please note, mint is slightly toxic to dogs if eaten in large quantities.
