An ideal gift for plant lovers whether they're experienced gardeners or just starting to develop green fingers, these seed balls are easy to use and will produce clumps of chives that can be used in the kitchen, and will attract bees to their pretty purple flower heads.

For the best results, grow your chives in moist but well-drained soil or compost. They are a perennial plant, so will come back year after year.

This tube of 20 seed balls (each containing about 30 chive seeds) will start to grow in two to four weeks, depending on the weather. Download our Seedball hints and tips to get the best from your seed balls.

Please note, chives are toxic to dogs and cats if eaten.
