Designed by John Henry Dearle for Morris and Co. in 1911-12, Leicester features light green scrolling acanthus leaves with an underlay of smaller red, blue, and yellow flowers and foliage (including carnations), on a dark blue background.

This favourite Arts and Crafts design complements both modern and traditional home decor, with its floral and foliage motifs and intricate details.

These cork-backed placemats are laminated to be heat resistant up to 100C and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
