The sun is out, the sky is blue … it can only mean sports halls across the country are packed with stressed teenagers sitting exams.

We can’t do anything about exam boards asking about the Porter in Macbeth, I’m afraid, but we do have tools to help with last-minute revision.

Set texts in DAISY audio

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more! Our DAISY for sale range includes a selection of GCSE and A-level English set texts, such as Henry V, The Color Purple, Animal Farm and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Because they’re in DAISY audio, you can navigate the books line-by-line to nail down quotes for exam day. (If your set text isn’t yet available to buy in our Shop, pop over to RNIB Library to find it in audio or braille.)

Tactile maths tools

Our easy-to-see, tactile maths tools would make Pythagoras proud! Made of yellow plastic with black, tactile markings, these rulers, set squares and protractors will have you covering all the angles.

Thick-lined paper

Get your revision notes down on paper that makes it easier to read back the drainage densities of the Fens or how the executive branches of the US government work… Choose a notepad in the size and paper colour that suits you best, or try our loose A4 sheets in a range of colours designed to help you focus.

Writing guides

Alternatively, our A4 and A5 writing guides can help you get your thoughts on standard paper. These cardboard frames guide your handwriting to keep it in straight lines.

Reading guides

Our pack of reading guides (or typoscopes) are designed to make it easier to focus on a line of text, by reducing the amount of text visible to the reader and reducing glare. Each pack contains four different guides to make reading large print books, paperbacks, newspapers and magazines, and large print magazines easier.
