If you have some vision but you struggle to read regular print, large or giant print may be for you. For information on where you can borrow these books, head to RNIB's guide to large and giant print options.

You may also find a reading guide (also called a typoscope) useful. These black frames make it easier to focus on a line of text, by reducing the amount of text visible to the reader and reducing glare.

If you prefer audio, you have lots of options! There are commercial audiobook services, such as Audible, Libro FM and Spotify Premium, but you can also borrow audiobooks from your local library and from the RNIB Library. RNIB’s 40,000 plus Talking Books are available on DAISY CD, USB stick, and (many of them) as a digital download.

A selection of these Talking Books is available for sale. Some of the most popular titles can be popped straight into your basket on the Shop – browse fiction and non-fiction to find your favourites – and some can be ordered directly from our Helpline (call 0303 123 9999 or email helpline@rnib.org.uk).

Our library also houses 11,000 braille titles, which are available to borrow, with many of them available for sale. Head to RNIB Library to browse the extensive catalogue or search for a specific title.

To buy or borrow the book, simply call our Helpline on 0303 123 9999 or email helpline@rnib.org.uk.

Whether you like to work out whodunnit, prefer the will-they-won't-they of a big romance, or want to know where Napoleon went wrong, we're here to keep the pages turning.
