The Daylight Halo Go is a truly portable lamp with magnifier and rechargeable battery that produces consistent brightness for eight hours. LEDs circle the magnification lens for a uniform lighting over your project / crossword / homework. The lens offers 2.25× (five dioptres) magnification with an inset lens giving 4× (12 dioptres) magnification for working on the finest details. And when you’re done, it folds flat!
The lamp has a single button on its base which turns the light on and off and adjusts its brightness (two settings). This dark grey button contrasts well with the white lamp base and gives a clear click when pressed. However, it is flush with the base and may be difficult to find by touch alone.
On the highest brightness setting, the lamp will produce four hours of consistent light, on the lower setting, it will give you eight hours of consistent light.
The protective cover for the magnifier has a small cut-out crescent shape in the lamp head that allows a finger to be inserted to flip the cover upwards to about 90 degrees. The magnifying lens can be easily rotated so that the inset lens can be positioned where you need it.
Three small blue LEDs at the base of the arm indicate remaining battery charge and flash when the lamp is charging. These may be difficult to see in well-lit conditions. The lamp is supplied with a micro-USB cable and USB adapter. The adapter has been designed to be easy to hold and use.
