Easy-to-see, wooden jigsaw puzzle 28 pieces

This 28-piece wooden jigsaw puzzle is designed to be solved by touch alone, but the image has been chosen to help those with low vision too.

The 10cm puzzle pieces have distinctive shapes which allow the picture to be constructed without sight. The simple and colourful image is designed for people completing the puzzle with low vision. The straight edges of the puzzle are bright yellow to offer extra help.

The puzzle was created when Catherine Daley’s mother-in-law, Sylvia, found it increasingly difficult to do the jigsaw puzzles she so loved because of sight loss. Catherine decided to create a new kind of jigsaw for her and this design – a ginger cat inspecting a tree filled with colourful birds – is a tribute to Sylvia’s old ginger cat, Kit.
